Troop 766 Eastern Iowa Honor Flight Welcome Home Experience the atmosphere and support as we honor our veterans when their flight returns from Washington DC!! There are 3 dates (Sept 21, Oct 5, & Oct 19) from 8:00-10:00 pm. You can attend 1 date or all 3! The plane is scheduled to arrive at 8:45 pm. Details: 1) Scouts - wear your Class A uniform! 2) Earn service hours and honor our nation's veterans. 3) Bring patriotic "thank you" signs! 4) Please arrive inside the airport by 8:00 pm. Park in the long-term parking area. You'll receive a free parking voucher inside the airport terminal. When you exit the parking lot, show them both the normal parking ticket and the free parking voucher. About Eastern Iowa Honor Flight: Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
