Participate in casting your own lead munition and taking aim with a historic flintlock! Visit Marble Springs on Saturday, October 23rd from 10AM to 3PM to learn the fundamentals of muzzle loading, casting your own ball, shooting a flintlock, and firing at targets! This is a brown-bag affair, so be sure to bring your own lunch! Ear protection and eye protection are required and provided but feel free to bring your own if you wish. Tickets are required to participate and can be found on Eventbrite.com or Facebook. Gates will open at 9:30 am. Ages 18+ only. Marble Springs State Historic Site is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Tennessee Historical Commission. ​Marble Springs State Historic Site is also generously supported by Knox County and the Arts and Heritage Fund with supplemental funds provided by the Governor John Sevier Memorial Association.
