The Festival Singers and Resident Artist Kevin Vogt celebrate the newly installed Halbert Gober organ with Zoltan Kodaly's Laudes Organi The William Baker Festival Singers join with Artist in Residence Dr. Kevin Vogt to celebrate the newly installed Halbert Gober tracker organ. The featured work is the spectacular Laudes Organi of Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly, composed in 1966. The program will also include additional works for chorus and organ. The William Baker Choral Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)-(3) arts organization of the state of Kansas licensed to operate in Missouri and Georgia. The Choral Foundation is home to the The William Baker Festival Singers, and The New South Festival Singers, Zimria Festivale Atlanta, The Summer Singers of Atlanta, The Baroque Summer Institute, The Summer Singers of Kansas City, and The Summer Singers of Lee's Summit.
