The year 2020 is a huge milestone for Day1, celebrating 75 years of continuous broadcast &  Day1 is a multimedia ministry representing the historic mainline protestant churches America through weekly programs and podcasts of outstanding preacher sermons & interviews. The Day1 website provides a vast media and text resource library available for use with permission by lay persons, clergy, teachers, students, and other church leaders. Day1 is a ministry of the Alliance for Christian Media, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. The Alliance for Christian Media is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the parent organization of Day1 Radio and Day1.org and FaithGoods.com (formerly the Episcopal Media Center). Founded in 1945 originally as The Episcopal Radio and TV Foundation and the Protestant Radio & Television Center, the Alliance for Christian Media has been instrumental in broadcasting the acclaimed Protestant Hour (now Day1) radio programs as well as producing Emmy-winning TV programming such as The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and Shadowlands.
