I am a retired, older musician, looking for fun group. Gigs or no gigs is fine. I have played all of my life because I enjoy the music and playing. I am a rock and blues enthusiast and those are my strengths. I have stayed true to my likes and dislikes. I really have gigged a lot but getting paid was never "the priority". It still is not. I want the band to enjoy what we do, first and foremost. If venues want to hire us for what we love to do, fine. Let's go. If looking for "variety", I am not that player. I will be upfront about that I don't play Beatles or country (maybe a couple). Rock and roll, oldies included, and blues with some R & B is what I am looking for. Driving is not an issue. I have great equipment and transportation. I do homework before rehearsals and I am dependable. My nature is friendly and not a Drama Queen. My ego stays in check. Mainly want to look forward to playing whenever we get together. Has to be a good time. Asking for too much ? Maybe. Let's see where this takes us. Thanks for reading !
