Cheyenne, Wyoming – Laramie County Community College will offer a new Welding Fabrication class on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5-8 p.m. starting August 23, 2021.
The course does not require participants have any prior welding experience. Students will have the opportunity to learn in a state-of-the-art welding lab, located on the LCCC campus. Through the design and fabrication of the student's project, they will develop and demonstrate knowledge of a working blueprint, generate project cost estimates, project timelines, and materials needed for completion.
The three-credit hour class covers safety, equipment operation, layout techniques and print interpretation. Participants in the course are responsible for the cost of materials required for their personal project.
