Press release from Laramie County Community College: August 18, 2021 Cheyenne, Wyoming – Laramie County Community College will offer a new Welding Fabrication class on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5-8 p.m. starting August 23, 2021. The course does not require participants have any prior welding experience. Students will have the opportunity to learn in a state-of-the-art welding lab, located on the LCCC campus. Through the design and fabrication of the student's project, they will develop and demonstrate knowledge of a working blueprint, generate project cost estimates, project timelines, and materials needed for completion. The three-credit hour class covers safety, equipment operation, layout techniques and print interpretation. Participants in the course are responsible for the cost of materials required for their personal project. Enrollment is open now until the course fills.
