NeoCity Academy Parent University is where school meets family to support and strengthen our students' educational experience. This series, offering different topics throughout the school year, will help educate parents on ways that they can best support their students socially, emotionally and academically. This event will focus on Standards-Based Grading. You will learn how we assess student work at NeoCity Academy and how that work translates to a grade. You will also learn how to access Canvas, how to access Focus and best practices for keeping up with student progress. NeoCity Academy is a magnet high school in the School District of Osceola County, FL. Through a unique approach to teaching and learning, our school offers students an inquiry-driven curriculum that builds problem-solving strategies. We are Florida's first Zero Energy school, and deliver our education in a state-of-the-art facility located in the NeoCity Technology Park.
