LARGO, FL — Sometimes you just really have to have a Snickers bar. One Clearwater man took his craving to the extreme, threatening a Largo Wawa convenience store employee with a pocket knife to steal a Snickers candy bar, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. According to deputies, Erick Sean Minto, 49, walked into the store on Walsingham Road and asked the store employee for free food. When the employee refused, deputies said Minto pulled out the pocket knife and pointed it at the employee, saying "Don't make me do something stupid for a Snickers bar." Deputies located and charged him with robbery with a deadly weapon. Minto is being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $10,000 bail.
