Job Title: Day Porter/ Janitor Location: Bay Area Schedule Time: Monday – Friday 8 hrs a day Pay: $24.00 hr General Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): • Customer Service Skills • Build strong working relationships with management, staff, and employees (members of the team). • General Cleaning Skills • Arrive at the property on time and professionally ready to perform job duties. • Empty all waste receptacles and replace plastic liners as needed • Use custodial equipment, supplies, and take proper cleaning procedures • Vacuum, sweep and mop • Dust all horizontal surfaces including desktops, chairs, tables, and other furnishings • Sanitize and remove fingerprints and marks from switch plates and door frames • Disinfect all common areas • Maintain restrooms (clean, sanitize and restock) • Physical exertion: To lift, bend, stoop and/or move 25 pounds Requirements & Qualifications: • Must speak fluent English • Must be authorized to work in the U.S • Travel to different locations • Cleaning/Janitorial experience: Training Available • Great people skills with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team • Reliable transportation, non-expired driver's license, and clean driving record. • Self-motivated, as well as ability to work in a team environment. • Must be organized and able to follow a schedule. • Learn and train on safety and company policies and procedures. • Use all approved chemicals and tools.
