ANDOVER, MA — Andover's 375th Anniversary End Of Summer event has been canceled due to the weather, the town said Thursday morning. The event was scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Heavy rains swept much of Massachusetts Thursday, with some areas put under tornado warnings. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Essex County. The National Weather Service forecasts the rain to continue in Andover in the evening. The town said residents should stay tuned for a rescheduled event date.
