Description
The Field Cleaner is responsible for various services to include but not limited to using all and any cleaning equipment for cleaning a typical hotel room, vacuum carpet, light dusting – blinds, lamp shades, disinfect all high touch areas – light switches, door handles, phones, appliances - TV remote/ TV, alarm clocks, clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, showers/ tubs, counter tops, hard floors, remove bed linen and bag for pick-up by others, remove waste/ garbage and place in appropriate dumpsters/ bins, etc. This is an AT-WILL position and you will report to the MEK Operations Manager and the On- Site Manager.
Requirements:
• Experience in cleaning, moving supplies and taking direction from on- site supervisor
• Ability to bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods to perform normal job functions
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
Job Requirements:
• MUST be reliable
• MUST want to work
• MUST be detail oriented
• Likes to clean (no cleaning experience required, but is a plus)
• Likes making clients happy and must take pride in your work
• Comfortable driving your own vehicle to and from jobsite
• Inserting hands in water and working with cleaning chemicals throughout the day
• Available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, you may be required to work a variable schedule/varying hours to meet operational needs (weekends & overtime if necessary)
• Must be able to lift, up to 40lbs as needed
Important Criteria:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have valid driver's license or state ID
• Must speak fluent English
