I did not vote for Newsom 3 years ago. But I voted "NO" on the recall for several reasons. 1. We have term limits for a reason. Newsom has two be re-elected next year as it is anyway. Holding a special recall election is childish. 2. This recall feels like a political stunt to me. Newsom has not committed a crime. That is what recalls are for. removing criminals. Being butt-hurt is not a valid reason to organize a recall. 3. Overall, I think Newsom is handling the covid crisis well. In a state like CA there is no way to satisfy everyone. Some people,e want make mandates, others do not. some people want the vaccine, others do not. Some people,e want businesses closed, others do not. This pandemic is a no win. situation for ANY governor. no matter what Newsom does, some people will be unhappy. I am just grateful we do not have an extremist leader like Texas or Florida. As I said I did not vote for Newsom in the last election but if he sustains his position through all of this nonsense, I very well may vote for him next year.
