Hello Bluegrass Musicians The Larkspur Canyon Bluegrass Band is reforming and will begin rehearsals to play live events. Experienced players wanted, young and old, M/F, for mandolin, banjo, Do Bro, Violin and stand up bass. The two flat top guitar spots are taken by myself ( I sing first vocal and front the band ) the lead flat picker spot is also filled. We have a cataloge of 60 songs or so, Uncle Penn, I’ll Fly Away, Dark Hollow, Rocky Top, Mountain Dew, Little Maggie, High Lonesome Sound, In The Pines, Friend Of The Devil, should I say more? Our musical style is rooted in the traditional sounds, folks like, Bill Monroe, Ralph and Carter Stanley, Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, Flatt & Scruggs, Grisman and many more… Outdoor rehearsal in Marin will be held once a week, Saturday or Sunday beneath the shade of a giant Oak Tree in my driveway, social distancing observed.
