WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford police chief has proposed putting surveillance cameras in Doolittle Park after a number of reported incidents, the Meriden Record-Journal reports.
Police say there have been 16 incidents of suspicious activity at the park and 29 complaints involving juveniles so far this year, according to the Record-Journal. Ventura and Sgt. Lou Brangi presented this information to the Town Council on Tuesday night.
If Police Chief John Ventura's plan goes into place, Doolittle Park would be the first town park with surveillance cameras, the Record-Journal reports.
