Pinwheels for Peace at Historic Nehrling Gardens
Join us for this free activity for kids. Pinwheels for Peace was started by two retired art teachers. Today thousands of children make pinwheels and plant them in a peace sign on International Peace Day on September 21. We are honored to have retired art teacher, Lenore Eastman, (many of you may know her from Thornebrooke Elementary) volunteering her time and talents to facilitate this fun craft project here at Nehrling Gardens. Kids will be able to complete and take home a Pinwheel for Peace to plant in their home garden on September 21st. The event is free but registration is required.
The event will be outside at Nehrling Gardens. We will follow all City and County protocols for Covid-19.
