All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-08170158, 100 block of S. Barton Street. At approximately 3:43 p.m. on August 17, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim and suspect connected online regarding the sale of a cellphone. When the male victim arrived at the agreed upon location, he approached the two suspects and asked if he could see the cellphone prior to purchasing. Suspect One reached into his backpack, brandished a firearm and demanded the victim give him all of his money while Suspect Two brandished a knife. The victim gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash and the two fled the scene on bikes. Suspect One is described as an Asian male in his mid-20's, wearing a black hoodie and black face mask, carrying a black backpack and riding a black bike. Suspect Two is described as an Asian male, approximately 15 to 18 years old, wearing a black mask and red hoodie, riding a black bike. The investigation is ongoing. ROBBERY, 2021-08170159, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 3:58 p.m. on August 17, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female suspect entered the business and began grabbing merchandise before walking towards the exit and attempting to leave without paying. A store employee attempted to prevent the suspect from leaving when she brandished a knife and fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 5'3" tall, 135 pounds, in her mid-30's, wearing a gray hat, black face mask, light gray t-shirt and black shorts. She was carrying a black backpack at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing. ROBBERY, 2021-08150146, 300 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 12:35 p.m. on August 15, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business and began concealing merchandise into his bag. The suspect then attempted to leave without paying for the items and ran towards the entrance, pushing a store employee to the ground before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5'8" to 6'0" tall, 160 to 180 pounds, 25 to 35 years old, wearing a black tank top, black pants and red hat. The investigation is ongoing.
