Hello! I started my stringed journey when I was nine years old and have been going strong since 1981. I am jazz trained and have been focused primarily on fretless bass since 1984. I have taught mostly kids who are just getting started and who have no prior training. I read and write standard notation and am open to hour long beginners classes. Parents with kids going into Middle School Jazz Band and needing private instruction. The first month would be focused on reading and the math of music. Learning time signatures, notes and their time values and finger strengthening exercises. Then we launch into learning the basics; scales and chords. Major and minor. Reading notation and chord charts. Hour classes start at $40. I am also a trained Audio Engineer and Sound Designer.
