Alpha Explosives seeks applicants for a leadership role at our McClelland rail siding. Process and operation training will be provided to the applicant that demonstrates the required ability to: communicate well with staff and manager, team-build, garner trust and strengthen relationships, delegate and provide proper oversight, quickly learn our detailed process and provide training and skills evaluation to others. ***Please send resume for consideration This position is for a DOT regulated Hazardous Materials Transportation Company. This means that all candidates are subjected to background checks and drug & alcohol screening testing. Per Federal law, background checks must not show any felonies and drug & alcohol screening must be negative in order to start work. *Only responses with a resume or work experience letter with current contact information will be considered* Duties include but not limited to: -Participating in all safety and tailgate meetings -Follow all safety programs, company policies and uphold regulatory compliance -Loading and offloading of all vehicles of both packaged and bulk products, including raw materials -Operate mixing plant, maintaining product levels for upcoming jobs -Perform pre-use inspections of all equipment and vehicles -Practice good housekeeping habits with workspaces, equipment and vehicles -Execute job tasks at customer site locations when deployed -Complete yard maintenance duties and general labor activities -Utilize and preserve all company issued Personal Protective Equipment -Assist with all requested projects or scheduled activities, like picking up parts from vendors Requirements: -**FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE REQUIRED** must not contain felonies -**PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG and ALCOHOL TESTING IS PERFORMED** We are a ZERO TOLERANCE company -Entry Level Position -Able to lift 75lbs -Maintain safe, healthy and environmentally sound work environment by adherence to company, site and legal standards -Must be at least 18 years of age -Experience with skid steers, tractors, forklifts is a plus -Prior boiler experience -Trans-loading and or handling of hazardous materials experience is highly valued We Offer: -Competitive pay, DOE -Full health benefits (visual, dental, physical) and 401k matching -Holiday pay after a year of employment -Paid Vacation
