We are a small family owned business & are seeking a shop helper to become an integral part of our team. You will perform a variety of tasks encompassing the fabrication of ornamental iron. No previous welding experience necessary. We will train you on the basics of welding and fabrication. You will learn how to read plans & operate MIG and inner shield welders. This is a great opportunity to learn a new trade! Position Responsibilities: • Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling and cutting metal parts. • Clean-up of the shop every day Requirements: • Ability to effectively work well with others • Ability to handle physical workload • Ready to learn and follow instructions • Safely operate all hand and power tools • Willing to work outdoors, subject to hot and cold temperatures and weather • Punctual and reliable attendance
