We are a growing residential Solar company based in Austin that offers its employees a flexibility, freedom, and continuing training and support. Job description: As a solar installer you will be working on a crew with 3-4 other people installing and maintaining solar PV systems on customer's homes. You will be working with a roof lead and an electrician, following their direction. Responsibilities: Communicate with customers and follow a schedule for the jobs each day. Follow plans and install systems per design. Work in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain high levels of installation quality, installing equipment as if the home was yours. Install the mounts, racking, panels, and other equipment per specs. Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may come up during the installation of the system or after it's operational. Answer any questions that customers may have during install. Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and presentable. . Requirements: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Previous solar, roofing, or other construction experience preferred Valid driver's license Clean driving record Work well with others Able to climb ladders and work at heights Able to work in hot and cold conditions Be able to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day Familiarity with safety equipment and its use Basic math skills, being able to lay out arrays per plans Basic computer knowledge Basic knowledge of residential electrical Good time management and able to keep to a schedule Excellent customer-facing appearance and demeanor
