SANTA MONICA, CA — Nearly 2,000 customers lost power in Santa Monica Thursday afternoon, Southern California Edison reports.
An outage was reported about 12:07 p.m. in the 90405 zip code, the utility says. Crews were analyzing the problem in the area, where about 1,834 were expected to have power again by 5 p.m.
An outage was reported about 11:31 a.m. during a pole upgraded and 33 customers were expected to have power again by 4:15 p.m.
