Here are the top stories in San Diego today: San Diego County residents with moderately to severely compromised immune systems can get a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency estimates the immunocompromised population is around 26,000 in the county. (San Diego Patch)Facial coverings will once again be required for everyone at San Diego County courthouses regardless of vaccination status due to an increase in COVID-19 cases countywide. Facial coverings will be required immediately at the South County courthouse in Chula Vista after five positive COVID-19 test results were reported at the facility. The requirement will go into effect Monday at all other court facilities in the county. (San Diego Patch) The Port of San Diego has awarded a 10-year lease to locally owned Crack Taco Shop as part of its effort to revitalize Seaport Village. The restaurant will help the port in its effort to revitalize Seaport Village as a dining, entertainment and retail center.
