Press release from the Missoula County Government: 08/19/2021 10:13 AM The Missoula County commissioners are accepting applications for the Missoula Aging Services Governing Board to fill the remainder of two vacant terms through June 30, 2022, and June 30, 2023.   The board is seeking candidates with backgrounds in public policy/advocacy, finance and non-profit leadership. Applications are available online. The application deadline is 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15.    Missoula Aging Services promotes the independence, dignity and health of older adults and those that care for them. As the Area VII Agency on Aging, MAS serves both Missoula and Ravalli counties. They do this through services, advocacy, education and volunteer opportunities. The board is responsible for developing and overseeing the strategic plan, finances and the chief executive officer. Board members have no role in the day-to-day operations of the agency.
