Responsibilities and Duties: Tutoring students on high school level courses Science and Math. Times: Monday-Thursday 8 am - 4 pm (Eastern Standard Time). Bilingual Spanish-speaking volunteers are strongly encouraged to apply. About YouthBuild: For unemployed young people who left high school without a diploma, YouthBuild is an opportunity to reclaim their education, gain the skills they need for employment and become leaders in their communities. We are in need of volunteer tutors who are going to work with students who need additional learning assistance. This can count as volunteer or internship hours. This position is unpaid and all tutors are required to attend sessions in person. If you are interested in in-person volunteering, we do require that you provide documentation of COVID vaccines or submit to a COVID test on a weekly or bi-weekly basis with a negative result.
