BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the Aug. 13 robbery of a victim in the South Town Market at 2321 9th Court South, and released security photos of a suspect in the case Thursday. Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham PD said the suspect attacked a community member who was inside the store and stole an unknown amount of money from the victim. Birmingham police posted a photo o the suspect Thursday: Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Birmingham Police Department at 205-254-1753.
