Relish the beauty of a southern night as Aurora Theatre programs an outstanding array of entertainment under a blanket of stars. Audiences love the new Lawrenceville Arts Center Courtyard which provides the intimacy of a 200-seat theater with the excitement and casual atmosphere of an outdoor venue. The fun begins as Aurora Comedy Nights hosts Mike Albanese for a funny Friday in the Courtyard. The Lawrenceville Arts Center Courtyard stage fills with the sounds of summer as audiences enjoy timeless favorites: Chi-town Transit Authority a Chicago tribute band, Thank You for the Music, a cabaret event with ABBA’s greatest hits and the return of Men of Motown, cabaret tribute to the legendary label. The month ends with the previously announced, Song and Dance, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical masterpiece on the Aurora mainstage.
