Senior Community Services HOME Program needs lawn service workers to help Seniors in your Community. Help people and get paid at the same time! We have several clients who need help through the end of the lawn season.
The HOME Program mows lawns for seniors in Hennepin County. You would help the same clients, scheduling their lawn mowing and using a weed whip once a month.
Senior Community Services helps seniors in:
Area 1: Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, New Hope, Robbinsdale, Crystal, Golden Valley, Plymouth and Hopkins.
Area 2: Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Richfield and St. Louis Park
Area 3 (Westonka): Wayzata, Minnetonka, Woodland, Deephaven, Excelsior, Shorewood, Tonka Bay, Minnetonka Beach, Orono, Long Lake, Spring Park, Greenwood and Mound
Area 4: City of Minneapolis - North and South sides
Pay: $18 per hour
Hours are flexible. You are your own boss.
The HOME Chores Program is part of Senior Community Services (SCS) - a non-profit that serves most of Hennepin County. SCS serves Seniors compassionately, while supporting their independence. We are fanatical about enhancing the quality of lives of older adults and their caregivers. HOME provides affordable home maintenance assistance for seniors to maintain their independence and remain in their home.
Qualifications:
Supply your own lawn mower and weed wacker
Reliable vehicle that can transport your equipment
Must be 16 years of age or older
Communicate respectfully with clients
Communicate well with the main office to record dates of service
Physically able to mow lawns, do trimming, blow grass after mowing
