We are searching for a kind, mature, responsible, joyful and dependable person (age 18 and over) to assist with creative activities/supervision for babies & Toddlers (8 months-5 years). Ideal Applicants: will have prior employment or volunteer experience working with school-aged children (babysitting, daycare staff, camp counselors, etc.). Potential employees should have excellent communication skills, a positive/joyful outlook on life, and the ability to understand what it takes to be a good role model for young children. Applicants should have a history of being respectful to all, teachable in new settings and capable of following directions. If you enjoy playing games, coloring, laughing a lot and truly enjoy being with children, this is the job for you! Requirements: Prior work with children via employment or volunteer positions is a must. First-aid/CPR are required. All applicants must agree to submit to a background check, and will need to have a negative Tuberculin (TB) skin test within the last year. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm open hrs Immediate opening – for a positive role model to inspire young minds. Job responsibilities: * Assist in the daily curriculum. * Moderate cleaning. * Supervise children. * Communicate effectively with staff and parents. Job Requirements: * Passion for children and seeing them succeed. * Being able to be on the floor and getting up and down. * Lifting children. * Ability to keep organized / cleanliness.
