Part time Friday: 6AM-11AM Saturday: 11AM-4PM Sunday: 11AM-4PM Monday: 6AM-11AM Seasonal (September to November) Full Time Wednesday - Saturday various hours We are looking for people who are able to work a flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays, as well as covering for coworkers when needed. Things are always changing so applicants must be flexible and adaptable. We are always looking for a 1 year commitment to working at our facility. -- We are looking for people to mainly work on the play floor with the dogs. All staff members are responsible for safe management of dogs at play. Most of our client's pups are high energy so you must be very patient and comfortable with dog play. -- At Club K-9 we put a strong emphasis on positive dog training techniques and handling skills. Under no circumstances do we advocate or allow screaming at dogs, alpha rolls, pinning dogs, over use of squirt bottles, intimidating the dogs, or similar techniques. We are looking for team members that are passionate about animals and who want to improve the dog daycare industry. Requirements: All applicants must love dogs, have fantastic communication skills, great references, be able to stand and walk around for at least 8 hours, lift 50 lbs, and be comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Applicants must also have basic knowledge related to caring for dogs, efficient cleaning, the ability to take initiative and make good common sense decisions. You must have a "can-do" attitude. Employees are expected to be on time to work, reliable, complete tasks quickly, team-players and solution oriented. References will be checked. Professional experience with dogs, or previous experience at a daycare is preferred; however, all care-taking experience is great. We are open 365 days a year with modified holiday hours. New employees typically do work holidays and weekends. ****Please note, at this time, we do not offer employment to applicants under the age of 18. All applicants must be free of drugs, and alcohol while at work, and Club K-9 is a 100% smoke free facility.**** Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $14.25 - $15.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: To keep employees safe we have provided hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, plexiglass at the front desk to serve as a barrier between clients and staff, and extra cleaning duties. We have also implemented a contact less drop off system for dog drop off.
