ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role. Always wears the proper PPE and follows the PPE Guidelines. Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or toll if he/she has not been trained to operate. Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily production plan. Uses heavy power manual tools, including a jack hammer. Sets and moves steel rings when instructed and as necessary. Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately. Follows the manufacturing process based on the production line (pipes or boxes). Assists with the concrete finishing duties when necessary, as repairing and patching concrete pipes and boxes. Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team. EXPERIENCE • Experience in construction or manufacturing desired but not required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and team members. The employee must frequently bend low and/or reach high, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. • Ability to stand continuously for 12 hours daily. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. • Employee must be able to wear Hard hat/Safety Glasses and all other required Safety apparel. Employee must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights for prolonged periods. • Employee must be able to use hand and power tools and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds periodically. • Employee must have the ability to work near others and in tight spaces occasionally. Employee must be able to work in high heat/high cold conditions. • Employee must be able to work in Low Light/High light conditions. • Employee must be able to adjust to a changing physical environment and maintain strong ergonomic safety decision making.
