DFW based restoration company seeks a technician for Water/Fire/Smoke/Mold restoration and remediation. To begin immediately. Day-to-day responsibilities include: • Following instructions and completing assigned tasks • Maintaining productive work sites • Setting up equipment as instructed • Ensuring job cleanliness and safety • Using appropriate staffing, equipment and materials • Completing assigned work within standard 40 hour work week • Discussing with Job Foreman the work and materials needed for the job • Requesting equipment and supply deliveries in a timely manner • Proper care of equipment • Appropriate use of supplies • Maintaining positive communications with clients and crew • Communicating with office staff about work in progress • Keeping accurate records of time, tasks, work done, equipment readings, etc • Recording and documenting work in progress • Maintaining positive working relations with customers and other on-site companies • Handling emergency situations when necessary after standard business hours • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Valid Driver’s License • Experience with Restoration/Remediation a plus • Ability to use and demonstrate proper use of tools • High accuracy in work, attention to detail • Oral and written communication skills • Travel as needed for local business • Extensive standing, stooping, walking, handling and grasping with repetitive motions • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
