Shepherd to a good home

Description

7 month old, neutered male shepherd needs a home. Would be best with a fenced yard (can jump the fence when full grown) and no kids under 8 years old (he's a little scared of kids that don't have dog manners yet). He's a velcro dog and loves to bond with his person. Follows his humans around the house. He's a sweet dog, but he does have a high prey drive. He does have two cat housemates he learned to love, but small animals that run from him are prey to him and he will go after them. He would really love to have a dog friend. He is such a dog-social guy that even daycare twice a week isn't enough dog playtime for him. He is still getting used to unfamiliar sights and loud noises but does really well with positive praise when he gets brave. He's about 35 pounds right now and will be about 45 -55 full grown. He was the runt of his litter. He does get some car anxiety, but should grow out of that with more exposure to car trips.
