Here is a quick and fun way to make $75. I need a video camera with good external microphones (such as the Zoom Q 8) or a shotgun mic pointed at me as I play two or three songs at an open mic. This is basically a camera rental fee because all you will need to do is start it, stop it, and e-mail the clip to me. The camera does not need to be moved during my performance and no editing will be required. The important thing is sound quality. Tiny, built-in microphones are not good enough! This will happen at the Commons the first Tuesday evening with good weather and no smoke. I've got a tripod, you just need a camera with good sound quality. When you respond, tell me about your camera and mic(s) and if you have filmed any live music performance with that equipment and gotten good audio results.
