Job Summary More Grime Than Time has immediate openings for house cleaners. Most jobs are in the Plymouth/Canton area and are between 9am and 3pm, 3-5 days a week earning between $16-$20/hour. We are a rapidly growing, locally-owned business providing superior cleaning services to residential homes and small businesses since 1996. Our goal is to provide our clients with a “housekeeper” feel rather than the impersonal feel of a large cleaning company. We do this by providing cleaners with a consistent client list which fosters a safe and comfortable working environment while providing excellent customer satisfaction. Job Description:A house cleaner with our company will be cleaning homes on a regular basis. They will be expected to be prompt, trustworthy, respectful and thorough. This job requires self-motivation and personal responsibility. Many clients will be repeat clients; cleaners will be expected to form trusting relationships with homeowners and their families. It is expected that our cleaners clean to our high quality expectations using provided supplies and processes with provided training. Compensation: Fair wages: typically between $16 and $20/hour Hours:Monday through Friday, minimally 3 days a week or 20 hours per week on a regular and consistent schedule during daylight hours. For the right person we would be willing to consider full-time hours. We will never require our cleaners to work nights, weekends or on major holidays, though extra hours may be available at those times. Location:Office is located in Plymouth, MI – Client homes will be in surrounding areas: Livonia, Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Canton, Ann Arbor Requirements: Experience in a paid housekeeping job is preferred but not required Employees must by 18 years or older, eligible to work in the U.S., pass a background check and drug screening Must have a reliable and insured vehicle, valid driver’s license and pass a DMV check Reliable attendance and punctuality a must Access to washer and dryer in order to clean rags Ability to meet all physical expectations of house cleaning to include: vacuuming, mopping, bending, scrubbing and lifting up to 20 pounds Suitable appearance and clothing Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and supervisors with English language proficiency Strong attention to detail Employees should have a mobile phone with texting capability, the ability to receive emails and attachments and capability of finding cleaning locations via online or mobile mapping Must be able to tolerate working around homeowner’s pets Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
