wanted: Classic Rock Bassist

i run a jam on every other saturday afternoon and would like to have a regular bassist for this venue, someone who can make the scene at least three out of four sessions. i do have alternate bass players i can call upon for those planned absences, but am looking for Mr. Steady. we have some 8-10 attendees, guitars, keys, sax, drumz, and vocals. most are regulars (except for the bass). we are all former assorted band members who just don't want the grind of being in a band anymore, but do want to make music for ourselves. we are, mostly, "mature" players!! we work off a varying setlist each saturday and just go down the list and play each tune once, and have a free-for-all if we finish the list. play in a 800sf room with excellent accoustics, A/C, heat, bathroom, parking, and an in-place bass amp. i have room for a minimal amount of spouses/friends, etc. costs nothing to play and pays nothing for the same. if you have an interest in killing off every other saturday afternoon in Farmers Branch with a musical group, then send me your email address and i'll send you a sample setlist so you get a feel for what we do.
