Hi, I'm working on a metal album, I've got musicians worked out and a good chunk of the guitar parts written - but I don't have a singer. I'm looking for someone with range, probably 50/50 clean/distorted vocals. I have some lyrics written, I can write more but if you are good at songwriting that would be a big plus. Influences include Slipknot, Gojira, Lamb of God - though definitely melodic too, not just the heavy stuff. Right now this is a "project", not a band - my focus is on the music first - so if you can work/record remote, that's a plus. I have a home recording set up and am doing my own mixing / mastering, being able to exchange tracks would make this a lot easier. The plan is to release this album on the major sites and streaming services when complete. Compensation is negotiable, depending on experience, availability, writing, etc. but I figure we can either work out an upfront price per song or a percentage of any income from the music. This is still early in the project, if possible I'd like to find someone before the music is "finalized" in case modifications need to be made to fit lyrics/timing, etc. Thank you for reading!
