Job Description Warehouse Worker We are looking for amazing warehouse workers who have 1-3 years experience, working in a fast paced warehouse environment. Must be safety minded at all times and willing to work with a team loading trucks/unloading daily, and bringing out orders to customers in a timely, accurate fashion. Knowledge of roofing materials and sheet metal a plus. Reports to Warehouse Manager and Lead. Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places. Pick materials from the warehouse from an order on the board accurately and timely and deliver it out to customer in the yard following all company procedures of checking product given and getting signature of customer when they receive items Picking and loading our delivery trucks daily with the correct items pulled and placed on truck following the driver's instructions. Checking and rechecking the order for accuracy Keeping the warehouse in order and clean at all times. Putting away materials in their proper place. Organized and willing to go the extra mile when things need to get done. Inspect forklifts daily to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Inventory, shipping and receiving responsibilities. Special orders and will call pulls that must be pulled accurately and in a timely fashion Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities. Safety first. Professional demeanor, communicator, integrity and honesty, problem solver, excellent customer service Must be able to read and write English; Computer literate and the ability to learn the programs we use for materials. Must be able to bend, sit, stand for long periods of time, lift materials properly up to 100lbs On time, responsible to cover their shifts, motivated to do their best at the job Extra pay for the skills below: This job is for an individual who has quality carpentry skills and has the ability to build crates for our shipping needs on a daily basis. Daily responsibility will be a crate builder for product shipping that we send out on a daily basis Must be well versed in carpentry skills, crate building, and excellent math skills. Must be able to work independently on each crate shipment and build to spec protective crating for the product being shipped. Skills Prefer forklift experience, but will train. Attention to detail and familiarity with roofing materials and sheet metal. Excellent physical condition and coordination; Must be able to work in various climates Bi-lingual a plus English/Spanish English/Polish Background, and pre-employment medical.
