I have one MALE, silver, tame java sparrow/java finch left for rehoming. His name is "Smoky." He is the bird in front in the photo. All others have gone home already. This bird is 2.5 months old and was hand-fed. He is so friendly! He thinks he is people. He steps on your finger, flies to your head, basically always wants to play with you. Flies all around the house and comes back to you. A wonderful pet, like a little parrot but quieter and not so demanding. I raise these birds with care on formula so they imprint on humans and they will not disappoint you! This is not like a finch you can find at a pet store. He is used to other birds but would do well as a single pet for someone with lots of time to give. He is used to eating Lafeber canary pellet food and will come with a little of it to start you off. I have two cages available for different fees, one small for $20 and one very large flight cage for $60 if it does not sell beforehand. If you have a cage already, he can go without one.
