People need to maintain perspective about the situation in Afghanistan

America has spent 20 years training and arming the Afghan people to defend themselves and their own nation. Afghanis are CHOOSING to not fight. Afghanis are CHOOSING to not protect their own country. The Afghanis are screwing our military over by not fighting for their own freedom. George Bush started this senseless war under false pretenses. We have been forced to protect people who are UNWILLING to protect themselves for over 20 years. Thew afghanis should have had our backs while we pulled out. They did not. So Biden and the military are adapting. Adapting to changes in a situation are a part of every war. No military procedure of this magnitude goes exactly as planned. The bottom line is, no Americans will be harmed during this extraction. That is a victory in my opinion. I stand behind our president and fully respect his decision to remove Americans from this senseless war.
