I have this vivid memory of driving home from camping with my dad, (which was always so disappointing...because honestly who wants to leave camping lol ) and hearing Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam come on the radio I'm not sure if it was a new song but it was my first time hearing it and I was hooked, I couldn't get enough of it...the sound of Eddie Vedder's voice....and the guitar.....it was like my soul vibed with the song, I didn't just hear it...I felt it! i grew up liking music but from then on I LOVED it, I listened more intently and I would always ask random people what was their favorite song was and jot it down in this little notebook i carried in my bag then I'd make it my mission to listen the song, this was before the internet was a big thing and i remember wishing I could have a conversation with some of the people about what the song meant to them or what they loved so much about that song in particular. flash forward I am no longer a teenager, I'm in my late 30's and I still chase that euphoric feeling I get from music, I know alot of songs now and how strongly some songs are tied to memories I thought maybe I could find someone who wants to have a back and forth about songs we love and why or maybe a memory we have tied to a song or just a song, i promise to give it a listen. Nothing too personal just 2 random people sharing tunes...... You start send me one you want me to listen to.... I'll let you know what I think and ill send one back ~S
