Learn how to use the Makerspace Vinyl Cutter. Each participant will make, cut, prepare and stick their own laptop/phone sticker! Learn to use the Bellingham Makerspace's vinyl cutter to make wall art, stickers, banners, signs and more!Participants will learn the basics of vector design, how to cut, prepare and stick the vinyl efficiently to any non-porous surface. Each participant will make, cut, prepare and stick their own laptop/phone sticker! Makerspace members can use the Vinyl Cutter for personal projects after taking this class.Class Length: 1 HourPrerequisites: None (Intro to Vector Graphics or equivalent is helpful)Min/max registrations: 1-4If you'd like a 50% scholarship discount (no questions asked) email [email protected] Instructor Bio: Jason Davies is the owner/operator of Dauntless Design Works. He is a graphic designer, maker, idea fountain, and long-time teacher and volunteer at Bellingham Makerspace. Important Information COVID-19: Too keep everyone safe; masks (can provide), hand sanitizing (at entrances), temperature checks and social distancing are required at Makerspace. Maximum class size has been reduced to allow for social distancing.Class fees: All class fees include materials. If you are a current Bellingham Makerspace member or scheduled volunteer you may select the discounted member registration. The financially challenged are encouraged to request a 50% off, no questions asked, scholarship discount. Volunteers may be eligible for training discounts.Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable).Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). After that point instructors and participants are committed and we won't be able to provide any refunds.Donations: Want to help the financially challenged?, donate any amount to the Bellingham Makerspace Scholarship Fund.
