Jamaican-UK author whose performance journey began in D.C will be at the Urban Reads Bookstore in Baltimore for the launch of her 3rd book! Love doesn't seem to come easy to Niyah, so she goes above and beyond to get the understanding she needs. She works to assist families in becoming better for themselves as individuals as well as for each other. Though good at her job, she finds love challenging to understand for herself, and it's through documenting her thoughts and emotions, she can piece it all together. She must understand what she endured while growing up before grasping love for self, which transmutes to a romantic type of love.   Careen Latoya Lawrence will be reading from her book and discussing some of the themes presented.
