We're Hiring POSITION: MAINTENANCE/PORTER Part-Time—4 days/8 am –2 pm /including weekends Amy’s Bread is hiring a Part-Time maintenance person for our location in Long Island City, Queens, (2 blocks from the 7 train.) Applicants must speak English, be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, and work on their feet for a 6-7 hour shift. Previous cleaning experience is necessary. Must work weekends. Responsibilities include: Washing sheet pans, dough tubs, buckets, and other dishes. Cleaning of bakery production areas including sweeping and mopping, cleaning locker rooms and bathrooms. Emptying garbage, bundling cardboard, window washing, stocking and receiving, some deliveries. Other duties as assigned.
