DISH & POT WASH ASSOCIATES * Uses pot-washer, pressure washers and other mechanical aids to wash and sanitize equipment and tools * Manually scrub, clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, trays, bins, and other service items * Remove trash from dish and pot wash rooms to trash room * Empty, clean, and maintain sink food basket, floor drains, dish machines, etc * Store pots, pan, utensils, trays and bins in the proper storage/drying locations * Maintain a clean and organized work station PORTER ASSOCIATES * Clean surfaces such as floors, carpets, walls, drains, windows and doors * Collect and transport all used/unclean pots, pans, racks, bins, trays, utensils, etc. to the dish and pot wash rooms * Responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of culinary production equipment * Remove cardboard and trash from kitchen production areas to trash room * Empty trash cans in locker rooms and locker areas * Monitor, clean and restock restrooms as regularly * Remove debris and cardboard from corridors * Clear and treat drains in all areas as needed and at shift end * Maintain exterior grounds as needed (free of debris, garbage) * Maintain the trash area * Report Quality or Maintenance issues immediately to the Facilities Director * Maintain cleaning supply inventory. (PPE, Chemicals, Paper supplies, soaps, trash bags) Qualifications * High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Quality Assurance or Safety Preferred * Previous experience in high end restaurants or hotels preferred * 2 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance * Knowledge of Department of Health standards * Must be at least 18 years of age * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred * Excellent written and spoken communication skills * Prior experience in lead/supervisory role in a warehouse environment, food specific experience a plus * Availability to work overtime and extended hours as required * Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively * High ethical standards, strong values, honesty and integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, and action oriented are required Please email your resume to [email protected]
