In this role, you’ll install electromechanical systems into vehicles, organize/maintain inventory (including kitting), and build/provide feedback on assembly documentation. As a Mechanic, you will: Install electromechanical systems into vehicles. Organize and maintain inventory, including kitting. Build to, and provide feedback on, assembly documentation. If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: Requirements 1+ years experience in relevant position Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and saws) Ability to lift and transfer a 40lb object Comfortable working in, around, and under a car Ability to complete a visual assessment of the vehicle and/or parts Familiarity with electrical cable assembly techniques, including soldering Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics Bonus qualifications A High level of mechanical skills Experience building wire harnesses Experience working with vehicles Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems Machining experience with any of the following: mill, lathe, waterjet, CNC mill/lathe/router Commitment:This is a full-time (40 hours per week), ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Boston, MA. It is open to candidates local to the Boston area and requires a schedule of Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (or another 8 hour window depending needs of team).
