Join us for a special co-hosted mixer with Pikes Peak Lodging Association (PPLA). As we celebrate Colorado Springs sesquicentennial this year, join us in taking a look back 100 years ago by stepping foot into the Garden of the Gods Trading Post. We are proud to be co-hosting this mixer with Pikes Peak Lodging Association (PPLA). We'll be enjoying an evening in the back garden area with food and drinks under the tent. Participate in the Strausenback's Scavenger Hunt throughout the Trading Post to learn more about its history and maybe even spot that perfect gift. The holidays will be here before we know it! Then turn in your answers for a chance to win a prize! The Trading Post will be providing a wonderful selection of assorted sandwiches, house chips, assorted dessert bars and cookies. A beverage station will be provided, and a cash only bar with beer and wine will be available ($5/$6). Mike Pach, photographer and author of Colorado Springs Then and Now will be in attendance. Mike spent two years researching, photographing and creating this magnificent piece, comparing photographs of days gone by with their present day likeness. A book like this only comes around every 150 years, so be sure to get yours and have it signed by Mike. It makes not only a great gift, but something memorable to pass down to your children's children's children.
