Bhartiya is an internationally known master sitarist with nearly 50 years of experience as a performer and educator. He has performed all over the world and currently resides in Denver, CO. He will be accompanied by Zach Hedstrom on tabla. Hindustani music is a form of classical music originating from North India. Featuring sounds including the sitar, sarod, sarangi, tabla, and voice, this music blends the components of raga and tala (melody and rhythm) into a uniquely dynamic soundscape.
