EMAIL YOUR RESUME THROUGH THIS AD OR APPLY IN PERSON AT: JEFFREY ALLEN GOLF CARS 2701 REESE RD DAVIE, FL 33314 Job Description: The prep technician assembles golf carts and utility vehicles (including installation of electrical accessories), performs light repairs and preventative maintenance work such as oil changes and battery replacements, and cleans and details the vehicles before delivery. No experience working on golf carts is required, but work experience as a mechanic or hands-on service technician in the automotive or equipment industry is highly recommended. Starting pay will be determined by the candidate's length of work experience in similar roles. This role can lead to opportunities for advancement into more senior technician roles, by learning more advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on the job. Job Responsibilities: Follow written and verbal instructions as well as hands-on training for assembly and repairs Read schematics, diagrams, and maintenance manuals and identify correct repair parts Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with team members and managers Complete assembly and repairs in a timely and professional manner Accurately track time spent on each repair and keep accurate written records of the work performed Maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity as measured in repair hours per day and per month Compensation and Benefits: Starting pay rate of $14-17/hour, depending on relevant experience. Paid weekly.
