Join us for a blissful evening of watercolor painting in front of Thomas Jefferson Recreation Center! Join us in partnership with the Arts Students League and Artist Amberrose Venus-Gordon. She will lead a workshop teaching you how to draw and paint people and nature. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome. About the artist Amberrose Venus-Gordon currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. She is a recent graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in painting and minors in art history, museum and gallery practices. Amberrose’s interest in working with children and her sensitivity to them is apparent in the way she records moments in their young lives. Her art focuses heavily on iconic symbols that are indicative of one’s childhood innocence. Feel free to bring your own watercolors, paper, water, and brushes. Limited supplies will be provided as well.
