Want to take part in the St. Joseph pilgrimage? The cost for the East pilgrimage is $55 per person. Lunch and tips are included. The East trip will be to the 4 St. Joseph Parishes in the eastern part of the diocese of Wichtia. Pilgrims will meet at 7 AM at Village Travel Wichita Location. From there they will visit churches in Yates Center, Humboldt, Arma, and finaly Baxter Springs. For lunch, a visit to Chicken Mary's in Pittsburg. A pilgrimage is not an ordinary journey. It’s a kind of “holy traveling” undertaken with resolve for a particular spiritual purpose to obtain a special favor and to do penance for one’s sins. When you travel to parishes named for St. Joseph and leave your prayer intentions at his altars, it shows him special honor that may result in blessings and graces through his intercession.
